The last Z I worked on I had to replace the passenger side turbo because it was leaking oil at the compressor. I've got a Z in the garage right now with two leaking sport 550's after only 20k miles. The correct restrictors were installed, oil drains are not obstructed, no foreign object damage to the wheels, etc In talking to Greg Dupree about it, he mentioned that he's heard of more people with 550 turbos failing than any other turbo used on the Z. Wondering if there is an inherent design flaw with this turbo...
